Emphasis will be placed on practicing all aspects of one’s technical skills and developing what we like to call “a quiet competence” as an adventure practitioner in the field.
What you'll learn:
Some of the specific skills covered in this workshop are:
- Review of basic and advanced rescue procedures
- Review self belay techniques for challenge course access, set up and gear retrieval
- Review of basic and advanced knot tying skills
- Learn basic course inspection tips and maintenance
- Review of specialty element operations such as Flying Squirrel, Pamper Pole/Plank, Zip Line, Rappel, Giant Swing.
- Development of a critical eye for all aspects of your program via problem solving scenarios based upon real challenge course incidences
